The Ziro Music festival – a four day event draws thousands of people and a host of international and local music talent. It’s a unique convergence of cultures with music as an important bonding.
Day 01 Guwahati - Tezpur
You will be met at the airport and transferred to Tezpur for an overnight stay. Later visit the town after you check into a hotel.
Day 02 Tezpur – Ziro
Check out and drive to Ziro. Lunch will be on the way. Enroute you will also visit some of the tribal villages. On arrival check into your hotel/lodge. Overnight in Ziro.
Day 03 – Day 06 Ziro
This is your time for music, spend your days on the festival ground or alternatively visit the nearby villages in Ziro, explore the apatanis and their lifestyle. Ziro will give you an experience of a lifetime.
Day 07 Ziro – Eco Camp
This morning set off for Eco Camp in Nameri National Park. Accommodation is in 'tents' with colorful fabrics, but private bathrooms, sturdy beds and thatched-roof shelters which make the experience relatively luxurious. Later walk to the nearby river bank for a beautiful sunset. Overnight on the fringes of the National Park.
Day 08 Eco Camp – Guwahati
You will be transferred to the Guwahati airport for your onward journey.
