Living Root Bridge

Living Root Bridge is one of the most extraordinary pieces of art and engineering work done by humans and nature as a team. As an old tradition, Khasi has been growing/creating living root bridges to cross the rivers. Khasis used/use Rubber Plants (FicusElastica) for it as the tree grows in any secondary roots.
