Manas National Park
Manas National Park, nestled beneath the Bhutan Himalayas, boasts sub-tropical vegetation and is nourished by the Manas and Beki rivers and several other streams and rivulets. As it shares an international border with Bhutan, this area serves as an excellent habitat for rare and endangered species such as the Golden Langur. The park’s elevation and grasslands make it a haven for fascinating birdlife, with occasional sightings of the magnificent Great Indian Hornbill. Another prized bird species to spot here is the Bengal Florican.
